My Rights!
You do have rights when it comes to how much you give of yourself to your job. You have rights to take care of yourself and do what is best for your career, family and mental health.

I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
We don't have to push ourselves to the point of burnout. Only we can decide when enough is enough

I HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIVE MY LIFE ACCORDING TO MY VALUES
If your values don't align with your job, company or boss, we will feel we have a misalignment of values and experience burnout

I HAVE THE RIGHT TO LOVE WHAT I DO SO I NEVER WORK A DAY IN MY LIFE
We all should love what we do and feel that we have made in a difference in some way. Hating your job, the company or your boss will lead to burnout

I HAVE THE RIGHT TO STAND UP FOR WHAT I WANT
We have a voice in our physical and mental health. We can express these with confidence and not be fearful. Without a voice, no one will know you are at burnout

I HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK-LIFE BALANCE
We consist of more than our job or career. We have a world we live in outside of the workplace. We work to get that life and need to set goals to attain this.

I HAVE THE RIGHT TO A BALANCED LIFE
We all say we want a work-life balance but how many of us work towards that and what does it actually mean? It is unique for everyone and everyone has the right to it.

I HAVE THE RIGHT TO RECOVER FROM STRESS IN A SAFE PLACE
Build an oasis. A place you can rejuvenate from stress and recovery from the day. It's not stress that hurts us, it is the lack of recovery from stress.

I HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE HEARD
We can communicate effectively to get our needs met. We deserve to be heard on our needs to protect our physical and mental health. We have something important to say.

I HAVE THE RIGHT TO PROETECT MYSELF
Setting boundaries protects you. Without boundaries you feel taken advantage of, unheard and stressed.

I HAVE THE RIGHT TO PUT MYSELF FIRST
You are the most important person in this equation. If you are not OK, nothing else works.
